In July 2023, professors and researchers from Malian project partners and the Center for Development Research (ZEF) visited ITT for the midterm workshop of the project. Each project partner provided updates of their work, outlining the next steps of the project. Updates included results about waste separation from the waste bins installed at USTT-B and the research conducted by PhD students at the biogas plant. Moreover, the Malian delegation visited the installation of :metabolon Institute, which included the industrial biogas plant and laboratories.
