In September 2022, waste separation bins were installed within the premises of the USTT-B. After an internal discussion among the project partners, only two types of separation systems are placed – organic waste and all other waste. Thirty bins of 100-120 liter capacity are placed next to the students dormitory and canteen. Collected organic waste will be fed to the newly installed biogas plant. Residual waste will be taken to the temporary waste collection sites of the municipality.
